About GLS Web Designs

GLS Web Designs' President/CEO is Gina Schmid. She has been designing, developing, and updating websites since 2002. Her roots started out on a very opposite end of the career spectrum - nursing. After many years of caring for others, she caught the computer bug. Wanting to learn more about this thing called a computer and the internet, took a class and ended up getting a degree in Information Technology.

Gina brings her attention to detail and professionalism from her first career into working with her web clients. Her work ethic and sense of responsibility are a credit to her parents. These qualities along with strong technical skills make a good combination for developing websites. It's a ever evolving field that keeps it interesting and challenging every day.

What is up with that tree on the hill in the header? Believe it or not I have a nice oak growing on a very large mound of earth in my backyard. I have no idea about the roots(pun intended) of this dirt pile, but it certainly is interesting-looking. So I thought that it was like my motto "Bringing Small Businesses to the Web"... one tree, rooted locally, but connected to the world via the internet.
